A newcomer to the Hot Ones family for Season 20, Chef Chitra Agrawal created Brooklyn Delhi to honour her Indian-American identity. Inspired by Indian achars, Chitra created this Ghost Pepper Sauce as a blend of savoury tomato, tamarind and a homemade masala mix. Savoury tomato and spices sing on the tongue, before India’s famed ghost pepper (bhut jolokia) chimes in with long-lasting heat. This is a spicy #5 spot sauce! While this sauce is rooted in Indian-American flavours, it pairs well with so many cuisines. Try it in a bloody mary, on pizza or with eggs.
